The second annual Cannafest cannabis fair was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by visitors and the Sensi Seeds expo staff alike. In a shocking turn of events at the 24th annual Cannabis Cup festivities, around 150 uniformed police raided the venue in the south of Amsterdam this afternoon. Both visitors and vendors were searched as they were forced to leave. Anyone found with over 5 grams of cannabis is being arrested, according to reports from inside the venue at around 5 pm, and search procedures were taking ‘a very long time’.

Last month Sensi Seeds attended Spannabis in Barcelona, Spain´s largest and longest-running cannabis expo. Founder and owner Ben Dronkers came along and spent many hours at the Sensi Seeds stand, chatting with visitors and staff, old friends and new.

The 14th Copa de la Marihuana (Marijuana Cup) was held in Madrid on the 18th of December last year.

Featuring documentaries and conferences on different aspects of cannabis and hemp use, from indoor cultivation to legal aspects of possession, the event was held with the participation and support of 21 cannabis consumer organizations.

Spannabis is the world´s largest hemp fair and once again the Sensi Seeds Expo staff are very much looking forward to attending. Spannabis celebrates its eighth anniversary this year on the 25th, 26th and 27th of February in Barcelona´s Cornella Convention Centre.
