Although you still have until the beginning of May to upload you photos for the Macro/Close-up photo competition, we wanted to give you a small update.

Many readers who own a camera will be familiar with the term ´macro´. In photography, this refers to photos taken at very close range in order to create detailed pictures of tiny objects. The new photo contest is going to focus on the fine art of the extreme close-up or macro shot.
