Dragon Milk Feminized is a 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid meticulously crafted at the Aficionado French Connection outdoor breeding facility in Colombia as part of the Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds project. To create this blend, Professor Q, Leo Stone, and Sensi Seeds’ own breeders started with the exotic, Dracoz (a cross of Runtz and Gotti) and then refined that by adding Pianono, adding Key Lime Pie and Sorbetto genetics. This was then bred with a unique strain from Mazar-I-Sharif developed by Nevil Schoenmakers in the 1980s.

The resulting plants are average in size, with a growth pattern that leans towards the sativa side of things, yet still produce dense, sticky buds and XXL yields. These plants perform best in warm, Mediterranean climates with heavy sun and moderate humidity.

Growth pattern of Dragon Milk Feminized

Dragon Milk Feminized cannabis seeds often grow to a medium size and feature a strong frame with sturdy lateral branches growing out at medium-spaced inner nodes. Mature plants tend to have a round, symmetrical canopy that’s capable of supporting the large, heavy buds with minimal additional support. Once flowered, these plants have slightly higher-than-average stretch and are likely to grow to 2.5 times their height over their flowering cycle.

Indoors, growers can expect Dragon Milk Feminized plants to reach maturity at a height of roughly 70-110 cm while producing XXL yields of 460-650 grams per square metre. Under natural sunlight, they can easily reach double that height, growing up to 200 cm and as much as 550-750 grams per plant. Indoors or out, they should be ready for harvest after 60 to 65 days of flowering.

The flowers from Dragon Milk feature bulky, swollen bracts that resemble “dragon scales” and give this strain its name. These dense buds boast a remarkably low leaf-to-flower ratio from the sativa genetics, which makes trimming fast and simple. The colour can range from deep green to almost purple, depending on their climate, but no matter the hue, the buds are coated in a dense layer of frosty trichomes and a thick, creamy coating of resin ideal for creating extracts.

While these plants may be a bit tall and stretchy for a sea of green (SOG) setup, their impressive lateral branches, heavy buds, and fairly quick vegetative growth make them ideal for a screen of green (SCROG), lollipopping, or mainlining.

Effects, taste, and smell of Dragon Milk Feminized

As harvest approaches, growers of Dragon Milk Feminized plants will start to notice a bright and exotic sweet lime and tropical sorbet aroma from the Pianono parent. This is accented by notes of creamy gelato, a mouthwatering dessert-like pastry sweetness, and subtle notes of gas and musk. Once dried, the buds retain and sharpen all of these notes, resulting in a deeply complex and layered aroma dominated by lime and citrus.

The flavour is truly something special, featuring distinct notes of zesty lime gelato on the inhale that quickly melt into a blend of tropical creamy sorbet and sweet pastry crust with citrus custard. Things wrap up with musky, gassy flavours and a smooth dessert-like finish.
