About Pomegranate Rain Feminized

Pomegranate Rain Feminized is a 60% sativa hybrid developed as part of the Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds project in collaboration with the team at Ziplock Seeds, who do all of their breeding at their outdoor centre in Hawaii. We bred this strain by starting with Silver Haze (a Sensi Seeds classic that crosses Haze with Northern Lights) and then combining that with another hybrid of Rain Drops & Pomegranate Spritzer (a blend of the Cannarado cut of Black Spritzer and Drunts).

On the whole, this strain is a typical sativa with long internodal spacing and a towering central stem. These tall plants can be tricky to grow indoors if you’re not prepared for their height, and many growers may want to flower these slightly earlier than usual if headroom is any kind of consideration. Luckily, there are advanced growing techniques that growers can use to help keep these plants from getting out of control. These plants can be grown in nearly any environment and perform rather well in colder-than-average climates.

Growth pattern of Pomegranate Rain Feminized

Pomegranate Rain Feminized cannabis seeds grow into plants with a classically sativa shape: extreme internodal spacing, somewhat short lateral branches that form a canopy less than half the plant’s height, and an overall tall and columnar structure. These plants can be a challenge for indoor growers with limited headroom, but outdoor growers are sure to be impressed by these plants’ potential for sheer size.

When grown indoors, Pomegranate Rain Feminized plants typically grow to heights of up to 160 cm tall and can produce XXL yields of 460-650 grams per square metre. Outdoors, this strain truly shines with plants easily topping 200 cm with the potential to grow as tall as 300 cm while generating equally impressive yields of 550-750 grams per plant over the course of their somewhat-slow 65 to 70-day flowering cycle.
