Red Bottoms Feminized is a 60% indica developed for the Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds project by the team at Ziplock Seeds at their outdoor breeding compound in Hawaii. To create this strain, breeders started with Sensi Seeds’ Maple Leaf Indica (a direct descendant of Afghan landrace strains) and bred that with a cross of Gas Drops and Deep Space Candy to add in award-winning genetics from two of Ziplock Seeds’ classic offerings.

These tall plants can be tricky to grow for indoor growers working with limited headroom, but their traditionally sativa-like frame makes them a good fit for a range of advanced growing techniques, making these plants a good pick for seasoned growers who want to get the most out of a limited number of plants. While these plants can be grown in nearly any environment, they perform best in colder, drier climates.

Growth pattern of Red Bottoms Feminized

Red Bottoms Feminized cannabis seeds can be expected to grow into rather tall plants with an elegant and balanced frame. The lateral branches are long with excellent internodal spacing, ideal for airflow and light penetration. These plants can stretch significantly in the first weeks of flowering, so indoor growers will likely want to flower them a bit earlier than usual. Additionally, the plants’ slender branches can become weighed down by the dense, heavy buds, so extra support may be needed as harvest approaches.
