Cannabis legalisation is a trending topic in Germany, especially in the capital city of Berlin. Although cannabis possession remains illegal in Germany, legal charges for small amounts are usually dismissed. Most states and cities do not prosecute for the possession of up to 6 grams of cannabis, and Berlin is the most liberal, tolerating up to 15 grams.

The place to be if you want to buy cannabis is the Gorlitzer Park. However, since April 1st 2015, the Berliner police has established a Zero Tolerance policy in the Park in an attempt to clean up the area.

Check out this report by Cannabis News Network, which includes an interview with the Berliner police, the Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV) and a street dealer in the famous Gorlitzer Parks.
