Why “The Marijuana Show”
The first two seasons of “The Marijuana Show” have been a great success. Two hundred applications flew in in just two weeks’ time, once Wendy Robbins and Karen Paull, the brains behind the show, called upon cannabis entrepreneurs to enter their internet-TV business competition.
“The Marijuana Show” launched its first season online in 2014, providing a platform for cannabusinesses to pitch their ideas to interested investors. At the end of season one , ten finalists presented their business plans, and half walked away with a portion of the $5 million funding pool.
During the second season investors handed out $13 million to seven contestants. The show will soon air, and is expected to reach 50 million digital viewers this winter on Dish, Verizon, Comcast, Xbox, Samsung, Roku and several other streaming sites.
Season three auditions are on!
While season two is about to be broadcast, the auditions for season three have started. Until December 31st, 2015, cannabusinesses have the chance to apply online. The goal this time is to beat the record of $13 million in investments.
We will have more people audition, more amazing products and businesses, and ultimately our show will make a profound impact in the economics of cannabis!”
