In 2016 an amazing new tourist attraction fully dedicated to cannabis will open its doors in the US state of Colorado. Caution! After reading this article, you might want to book a trip to the Colorado Cannabis Ranch & Amphitheater.

The famous cannabis entrepreneur Christian Hageseth, founder of the Colorado Cannabis Ranch & Amphitheater, compares this attraction to a brewery or winery, but dedicated to legal cannabis. The Ranch will give a unique opportunity to explore an operational professional cannabis grow facility to learn more about the plant, how it can be cultivated indoors, and the medicines it provides.

Besides the growery, the complex will include a restaurant, a large outdoor amphitheatre that can hold 3,000 spectators and – of course – a cannabis dispensary. And all this while enjoying a stunning view over the Rocky Mountains.

In an interview with the New York Times, Hageseth explains why he thinks this ‘weedery’ will be a success. “People are so curious. When they visit our indoor grows they say, ‘Wow, I had no idea the plant was so beautiful’, or ‘It smells so good in here’. I can spend all day talking about marijuana. But it would mean more if you have 30 seconds of a personal experience where you see it, you smell it.”

This large-scale weed attraction does confirm once again how rapidly the cannabis industry in the United States is growing. Hopefully more and more countries will follow up on these developments.
