On Friday the 2nd of October 2015 the house of South African medicinal cannabis oil producer and cannabis activist Sheldon Cramer – also known as Bobby Greenhash and ‘the Robin Hood of cannabis oil’ – was raided by the police. Cramer, who was not home at the time, went into hiding with his family in the ZwaZulu Natal bush.

Cramer and his family fled to a remote cabin to avoid spending the weekend in jail, since his case would only be heard this week. During the weekend he managed to create a lot of coverage on social media, and his legal advisors were given some time to prepare.

For many years Cramer has openly been advertising his illegal cannabis oils and tinctures on social media in order to help those in need of medication, effectively making a stand against the current South African cannabis laws. This has led to him being detained before, but has never stopped him from doing what he believes in.

Cannabis News Network spoke to Cramer just before he gave himself in. A story that can easily be compared to the legendary Canadian medicinal cannabis oil fugitive, Rick Simpson.
