Over a decade since its release, the Jack Herer seed-strain remains one of our favourite creations, and has continued to win prizes at in cannabis competitions and harvest festivals all over the world.

The show takes a look behind the scenes at California's largest marijuana dispensary, the Harborside Health Center. The first episode sets the scene and introduces the characters in the city of Oakland, where the Harbor Side Health Center is located.
Part two. Switzerland and Denmark are considering measures which could lead to the return of decriminalised cannabis in 2012. In both cases, the main reason for the proposed change is to reduce the harm caused by pushing cannabis onto the black market. The simple, inarguable fact is that cannabis will continue to be consumed for its medicinal and recreational properties, so allowing otherwise law-abiding people to grow or purchase it legally is the best way to prevent cannabis sales enriching criminals.
Along with the Netherlands, two other European nations enjoyed an enviable amount of cannabis freedom up until the mid-2000s. Denmark (specifically Freetown Christiania in Copenhagen) and Switzerland tolerated open sales of marijuana and hashish, though neither country had officially decriminalised cannabis at the time.
In a shocking turn of events at the 24th annual Cannabis Cup festivities, around 150 uniformed police raided the venue in the south of Amsterdam this afternoon. Both visitors and vendors were searched as they were forced to leave. Anyone found with over 5 grams of cannabis is being arrested, according to reports from inside the venue at around 5 pm, and search procedures were taking ‘a very long time’.
