The Dutch system is failing – Medicinal Cannabis as a Human Right | Part 3

Miniseries Cannabis News Network is launching a series about medicinal cannabis. In episode three they show you how the first government-controlled system, including Bedrocan as cannabis supplier, is set up and why it is failing its patients.

Cannabis News Network is launching a miniseries on one of the hottest topics in cannabis regulation: the medicinal benefits of the plant and the struggle of patients to get access to it.

In 2001, the Dutch government set up the Office for Medicinal Cannabis (BMC). This organization is responsible for the production of cannabis for medicinal and scientific purposes.

By doing this, the Netherlands became the first country in the world to start a government-controlled medicinal cannabis program. A pharmaceutical system functioning under strict conditions and meeting the United Nations’ requirements, and giving one company, Bedrocan, the monopoly in supplying cannabis.

In episode 3 of this series, Cannabis News Network shows you how this system is set up and why it is failing its patients.

I live in ny. Medical marijuana was legalized here in 2014.
WE HAVE NO DOCTORS TO PRESCRIBE IT!
DISPENSARIES ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN!
I'M GONNA DIE FROM ALL THE "LEGAL DRUGS " BEING PRESCRIBED TO ME BY MEDICAL DOCTORS!!!
Is it legal for me to order seeds? Will they be confiscated?
