Lemon Cherry Palms Feminized is a 60% indica bred from a cross of Lemon Cherry Gelato with California Indica and Durban. California Indica is a classic strain combining Hash Plant with Orange Bud, while Durban brings in the legendary sativa genetics that growers love. Sensi Seeds’ friend Mario Guzman, the founder of Sherbinskis, created Lemon Cherry Palms as a part of his new project Voice of the Plant.
This blend has resulted in an average-sized plant with high yields, a straightforward, no-nonsense growth pattern, and a relatively short flowering time. These plants are fairly versatile, meaning that growers shouldn’t have any issues slotting them into whatever setup they’re already running.
Cherry Lemon Palms Feminized cannabis seeds develop into average-sized plants with a well-structured and robust central cola and shorter lateral branches. Even in the late stages of flowering, these plants are relatively compact with bushy vegetation and moderate internodal spacing. Overall, growers should expect a dense central cola taking up the top third of the plant, while the lower branches will each develop smaller (though equally impressive) buds.
When grown indoors, growers should expect Lemon Cherry Palms Feminized plants to finish flowering at heights of 70-110 cm with high yields of 400-500 grams per square metre. If grown under natural sunlight, these plants can reach heights of up to 170 cm and produce up to 475-600 grams per plant over their 55 to 65-day flowering period.
The buds themselves are dense and resin-soaked with a mix of bright greens, purples, and fiery orange pistils on top of a thick layer of glistening trichomes. These resinous buds are quite leafy, which is likely to make trimming something of a hassle, particularly if trimmed before drying.
Thanks to these plants’ average size and versatile genetics, they are incredibly versatile and are a good fit for several advanced growing techniques. Their robust branches and dense buds make them a good pick for supercropping and lollipopping while their moderate internodal spacing and average stretch make them prime candidates for mainlining or a screen of green (SCROG) setup. If flowered early, these plants can even be put into a sea of green (SOG) grow without too much hassle thanks to their relatively short lateral branches and dense colas.
While growing, Lemon Cherry Palms Feminized plants give off a zesty aroma that blends sweet citrus, tangy cherries, and subtle herbal notes. At first, this smell is only mild, but as the plant matures, expect a more intense, rich, and fruity scent to fill the space. This smell can become overwhelming, so discreet growers may wish to invest in some odour control measures.
Once dried, the buds take on a powerful bouquet of lemon zest, cherry syrup, and tropical candy alongside more subtle hints of earthiness and pine, which provide a nice, grounded undertone. The flavour is largely what one would expect based on the scent, with bright citrus notes layered with tart cherries and a hint of tropical sweetness on the inhale. On the back end, smooth and creamy smoke with undertones of pine leaves behind an aftertaste of long-lasting citrus-cherry sweetness with a refreshing herbal kick.
The effects of Lemon Cherry Palms are as balanced as the rest of the plant, with a fast-acting euphoria setting in almost immediately. After some time, this gradually transitions into a deeper, more relaxed body high. This clear-headed uplifting high is perfect for creativity, socialising, or just enjoying an afternoon in the park.
