Sauvignon Blanc Automatic is a 60% indica hybrid created by Sensi Seeds Research by crossing Thin Mint and Frosted Zinn. Thin Mint is a derivative of Girl Scout Cookies (which combines Durban and Kush genetics) while Frosted Zinn is a 50/50 hybrid known for its well-balanced high. The result is a strain that grows like an indica but still packs an uplifting and energising high.

Sauvignon Blanc Automatic plants are incredibly compact making them a good fit for nearly any indoor space. As an autoflowering strain, these plants will begin flowering after a pre-set amount of time which makes them poorly suited to many advanced growing techniques. However, their high yields and ease of growth mean that they are a good fit for almost anywhere.

Growth pattern of Sauvignon Blanc Automatic

Sauvignon Blanc Automatic cannabis seeds grow into extremely compact plants that rarely grow taller than 80 cm indoors. Despite this short stature, these plants are still capable of producing high yields in the range of 250-325 grams per square metre over their 60 to 65-day flowering period. Even if grown outdoors, these plants are unlikely to surpass 100 cm while producing up to 250 grams per plant.

The buds are dense and frosted with trichomes and a vibrant green colour. Expect a single massive cola on top of a relatively slender main stalk which towers above the rather short lateral branches. These lower branches each support several smaller dense buds at each of the closely packed inner nodes. These plants are fairly leafy and the buds are covered in dense vegetation which can make trimming something of a chore.

As an autoflowering strain, Sauvignon Blanc Automatic is poorly suited to most advanced growing techniques such as mainlining, supercropping, or a screen of green (SCROG) grow. Additionally, the strain’s short lateral branches are less than ideal for supercropping or lollipopping. However, due to their compact size, these plants can find a home in a sea of green (SOG) setup.

While growing, Sauvignon Blanc Automatic gives off strong notes of juicy grape that are perfectly layered with hints of sweet mint and earthy undertones. Just beneath this, a floral scent complements the grape creating an almost wine-like aroma. After curing, a bold aroma of grape and sweet berries takes the lead while more subtle mint and vanilla undertones finish off the bouquet.
