About Sauvignon Blanc Automatic
Sauvignon Blanc Automatic is a 60% indica hybrid created by Sensi Seeds Research by crossing Thin Mint and Frosted Zinn. Thin Mint is a derivative of Girl Scout Cookies (which combines Durban and Kush genetics) while Frosted Zinn is a 50/50 hybrid known for its well-balanced high. The result is a strain that grows like an indica but still packs an uplifting and energising high.
Sauvignon Blanc Automatic plants are incredibly compact making them a good fit for nearly any indoor space. As an autoflowering strain, these plants will begin flowering after a pre-set amount of time which makes them poorly suited to many advanced growing techniques. However, their high yields and ease of growth mean that they are a good fit for almost anywhere.
Growth pattern of Sauvignon Blanc Automatic
Sauvignon Blanc Automatic cannabis seeds grow into extremely compact plants that rarely grow taller than 80 cm indoors. Despite this short stature, these plants are still capable of producing high yields in the range of 250-325 grams per square metre over their 60 to 65-day flowering period. Even if grown outdoors, these plants are unlikely to surpass 100 cm while producing up to 250 grams per plant.
The buds are dense and frosted with trichomes and a vibrant green colour. Expect a single massive cola on top of a relatively slender main stalk which towers above the rather short lateral branches. These lower branches each support several smaller dense buds at each of the closely packed inner nodes. These plants are fairly leafy and the buds are covered in dense vegetation which can make trimming something of a chore.
As an autoflowering strain, Sauvignon Blanc Automatic is poorly suited to most advanced growing techniques such as mainlining, supercropping, or a screen of green (SCROG) grow. Additionally, the strain’s short lateral branches are less than ideal for supercropping or lollipopping. However, due to their compact size, these plants can find a home in a sea of green (SOG) setup.
Effects, taste, and smell of Sauvignon Blanc Automatic
While growing, Sauvignon Blanc Automatic gives off strong notes of juicy grape that are perfectly layered with hints of sweet mint and earthy undertones. Just beneath this, a floral scent complements the grape creating an almost wine-like aroma. After curing, a bold aroma of grape and sweet berries takes the lead while more subtle mint and vanilla undertones finish off the bouquet.
The flavour is equally impressive with a deliciously grapey inhale that also delivers sweet minty undertones and a touch of earthiness. On the exhale, notes of dark berries and a hint of creamy vanilla round out the balanced taste.

So I am currently in the middle to end of flower and I can tell you - this is something special! So my pheno grow reaaally small with very little branches and I was a little dissatisfied at first. But when this plant started flowering, OMG! The Burs are Coke-Can sized, super dense and hella aromatic! Now the purples also start coming through and I cant wait to try her! Bever saw anything this triched out in my total of 30 grows and the aromas are so gassy, kushy stank with a rubber note - super complex and indescribable. Give this one a try guys!! (Four stars only because it grew so damn small, but could be my fault as well)

Good but not very big
I tried the variety last year on the balcony in small pots. Therefore, the plants did not grow very large. The pots were about 7l. But the plants smell very strong, even if they are small. The high is good and tastes really great. I overwintered 3 seeds in the fridge and all came back this year. Now I have them in 14l pots and am curious about the size. Due to the size, there are 4 stars for the time being, but can be corrected again to 5 after the season, if the yield this year arrives.
Gut aber nicht sehr gross
Ich habe die Sorte letztes Jahr ausprobiert auf dem Balkon in eheren kleinen Töpfen. Daher wuchsen die Planzen auch nicht sehr gross. Die Töpfe waren ca. 7l. Die Pflanzen riechen aber sehr stark auch wenn sie klein sind. Das high ist gut und geschmacklich wirklich prächtig. 3 Samen habe ich im Kühlschrank überwintert und sind in diesem Jahr auch alle wieder gekommen. Jetzt habe ich sie in 14l Töpfen und bin auf die Grösse gespannt. Aufgrund der Grösse gibt es erstmal 4 Sterne, kann aber nach der Season nochmals korrigiert werden auf 5, kommt aif den Ertrag dieses Jahr an.

With this name, I had to try it
I made two sowings in Spring 2025 (March & April) under glass in small pots. I was a bit disappointed with a low germination rate, which I accept may not have been due to the seed as conditions were more difficult than usual. After emergence and hardening off, plants were moved outside in large pots (cool, damp, maritime climatic zone). One lesson learned last year was that any stress to Auto seedlings will initiate flowering immediately, leading to tiny plants. Three plants grew really well (see attached photo), producing a good yield of dense white frosted buds. Quality was excellent, with good flavour and aroma from vape and pipe, with strong and uplifting effects. Overall I was happy and would recommend this new hybrid.
little dwarf
The Sauvignon Blanc grows very squat, almost dwarf-like, so I can confirm the experiences of the previous reviewer. Despite the small stature, neat buds form on the plant. My plant grown in 2025 was subjected to a pleasure test yesterday. In the joint the taste was very good, but I can't describe it in more detail. The effect is very strong at the beginning, euphoric and dreamy, and the physically relaxing component is also noticeable as the high progresses. Thus, my experience coincides very well with the effect described by Sensi Seeds. Due to the small stature, I give 4 stars, for the high you would have to give 5 stars because it is surprisingly strong for inexperienced smokers. Sauvignon Blan can be recommended to anyone who wants to grow a highly psychologically stimulating variety. Personally, I like the somewhat more moderate varieties better. Have fun growing.
kleine Zwergin
Die Sauvignon Blanc wächst sehr gedrungen fast zwergenhaft, damit kann ich die Erfahrungen des vorherigen Rezensenten bestätigen. Trotz der kleinen Statur bilden sich ordentliche Knospen an der Pfalnze. Meine 2025 gezogene Pflanze wurde Gestern einem Genußtest unterzogen. Im Joint war der Geschmack sehr gut, kann Ihn aber nicht näher beschreiben. Die Wirkung ist am Anfang sehr stark, euphorisch und träumerisch auch die körperlich entspannende Komponente macht sich im Verlauf des Highs bemerkbar. Somit deckt sich meine Erfahrung sehr gut mit der durch Sensi Seeds beschriebenen Wirkung. Auf Grund der kleinen Statur gebe ich 4 Sterne, für das high müsste man 5 Sterne geben da es für ungeübte Raucher überraschend stark ist. Sauvignon Blan kann man jedem empfehlen der eine, stark psychisch anregende Sorte anbauen möchte. Mir persönlich gefallen die etwas gemäßigteren Sorten besser. Viel Spaß beim growen.
