Béluga Blanc Feminized is an 80% indica created by Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds alongside our friends at Aficionado French Connection. This hybrid strain is a blend of Sensi Seeds originals Maple Leaf Indica and Hash Plant in one parent, and Aficionado’s White Caviar in the other parent, to add a touch of sativa genetics. White Caviar is a cross between Aficionado’s award-winning Chemdawg Special Reserve with AJ’s Sour Diesel.
This strain results in average-sized plants covered with dense vegetation and tight internodal spacing. These robust plants produce high yields and are an excellent choice for cooler climates or indoor grow areas with minimal space. Thanks to their versatility, Béluga Blanc Feminized plants respond very well to most advanced growing techniques, meaning that growers should have little trouble slotting these into their current setup.
Béluga Blanc Feminized cannabis seeds develop into average-sized plants with tight internodal spacing and dense vegetation. In general, these plants are compact and chunky, with lateral branches that are packed tightly around the main stem in a typical indica fashion. This helps to conserve heat and creates a robust, space-efficient plant ideal for cooler climates and indoor cultivation.
When grown indoors, growers can look forward to a plant that should finish flowering at a height of 70-100 cm, which can produce high yields of 400-525 grams per square metre. Under natural sunlight, these plants can grow slightly larger, finishing flowering in the range of 100-170 cm and generating a yield of 475-600 grams per plant over their 60 to 65-day flowering cycle.
The buds from Béluga Blanc Feminized are diamond-shaped with a bract-to-leaf ratio of 9:1. Each inflorescence consists of condensed and tightly packed branchlets with the same phytomer structure, creating a dense and compact appearance. The shorter internodes result in flowers clustering closely together, which contributes to the characteristic "chunky" indica look. This structure is well-adapted to cooler and drier environments, where compact growth helps conserve heat and protect the plant.
Dense and chunky with surprisingly little vegetation, the flowers are a vivid lime green, covered in pale pistils and glistening trichomes. The main cola is the real powerhouse here and is likely to cover the upper half of the plant. Slightly lower, the short and sturdy lateral branches should each produce a large and dense secondary cola. Thanks to the small number of larger flowers and fewer leaves, these plants are a breeze to trim.
Béluga Blanc Feminized cannabis plants respond especially well to almost any advanced growing technique. Their hearty, robust branches and dense flowers make them a great choice for lollipopping, and their compact size means that they can be flowered early for a nice sea of green (SOG). Additionally, these plants respond quite well to mainlining or a screen of green (SCROG) setup, though their tight internodal spacing can make this a bit of a slower process.
While growing, Béluga Blanc Feminized cannabis plants begin to give off a slightly pungent, gassy aroma which is gradually overtaken by a sweeter, candy-like smell as the plants mature. The aroma is certainly noticeable, though hardly overpowering.
After curing, the buds develop a similar profile, with candy-like sweetness from Maple Leaf Indica and bold jet fuel notes inherited from its AJ’s Sour Diesel and Chemdawg lineage. The flavour of this strain is exactly in line with the aroma. Sharp, pungent, and gassy on the inhale as the exhale softens to bring out more subtle, fruity notes. The aftertaste is largely sweet and slightly fresh.
The effects of Béluga Blanc Feminized are predominately indica with a slow onset. After using, expect a gradual body high to slowly creep its way into every limb and lock you to the couch. Soon, these same sedative effects will work their way into your mind leaving you feeling dazed, relaxed, and uplifted. Overall, this strain is ideal for some quiet relaxation alone or as a nightcap before bed.
