Who’s involved

The Sensi Seeds breeding team in Amsterdam has been working with cannabis genetics since 1985. For this project, they partnered with two people from Aficionado: Leo Stone, who built Aficionado's reputation in the US, and Professor Q, who runs Aficionado French Connection in Spain.

Together, they spent time figuring out how to combine their different approaches into something that made sense for all three.

Leo Stone from Aficionado French Connection says about the collaboration: “The entire Aficionado French Connection team is truly excited to join forces with Sensi Seeds for this special 2025 collaboration. We are extremely excited to develop two new genetics in partnership with your iconic brand.”

Aficionado’s Professor Q adds: “This alliance between our respective expertise is a unique opportunity to innovate and bring outstanding strains that combine tradition and excellence. We are confident that this collaboration will be a milestone, where we make luxurious genetics available for as many enthusiasts as we can!”

A look behind the scenes

A dedicated documentary captures the full journey behind this collaboration. From the streets of Amsterdam to the mountains of Colombia, follow the team developing these genetics.

The film reveals the two exclusive cultivars that were created for initial release in 2025:
  • Béluga Blanc
  • Bad Apple
