Peace Love & Harmony (a.k.a. PLH) Feminized is a 60%/40% indica-dominant hybrid created by the Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds program alongside the team at Fat Beans. This strain is a blend of Mandarine Jam—a true 50/50 hybrid—and Runtz, which leans more heavily on its indica genetics. This combination gives PLH Feminized a largely indica-like stature and effects while preserving just enough sativa genetics to be noticeable.
These fairly compact plants are more than capable of generating huge yields. While the buds themselves are unlikely to grow especially large, their density more than makes up for their size. Furthermore, the flowers are packed with resin making them a fantastic choice for creating extracts. Overall, this strain is especially well-suited for indoor growers, though the distinctive odour is worth considering.
This strain’s parents—Mandarine Jam and Runtz—both feature heavy indica genetics which includes iconic genetics such as Kush, Girl Scout Cookies, and Gelato. On top of this, the sativa lineage traces back to a Skunk/Haze hybrid. This all comes out in the growth pattern of these plants.
Peace Love & Harmony Feminized cannabis seeds typically grow into relatively short plants which usually finish flowering between 70 and 110 cm tall. Despite their moderate stature, PLH plants are still capable of generating huge yields of 400-550 grams per square metre over their 60 to 65-day flowering period. If grown outdoors, harvests can reach up to 650 grams per plant which can grow to heights of 200 cm.
As an indica-dominant hybrid, these plants are on the smaller side, growing dense and compact with a bushy growth pattern. These plants develop strong, thick branches and close internodal spacing. The buds are chunky, sticky, and visually striking, blending light green tones with orange pistils and subtle hints of purple. Everything from the buds to some of the fan leaves is coated in a thick layer of trichomes.
These traits all make PLH Feminized a great choice for a sea of green (SOG) setup, supercropping, and lollipopping. However, the relatively slow vegetative growth and shorter internodal spacing mean that these plants are not ideal for mainlining or a screen of green (SCROG) grow.
As PLH Feminized plants approach harvest, they begin to give off a somewhat powerful aroma which growers should be aware of. If you’re concerned with discretion, be sure to take a few extra steps while these plants are flowering. The aroma is fresh and tangy with a pronounced mandarin citrus scent, layered with sweet, fruity notes from the Runtz lineage; distinct and rather pleasant.
Once dried, the buds take on their signature scent dominated by mandarin and tropical fruits, with hints of sweet candy. The flavour is equally mouthwatering with a distinct citrus taste kicking things off, followed by tropical candy sweetness with a smooth, slightly creamy finish. The aftertaste is sweet with lingering notes of orange citrus.
The effects of PLH Feminized are distinctly indica, though there is a slight touch of its sativa heritage. Things kick off with an initial cerebral buzz that’s sure to get your mind reeling. Soon after, though, this gives way to a relaxing body high that can hit rather hard. This strain is a great choice for slowly wrapping up a more social evening or for leisurely getting a few things done around the house.
