Blue Flame Feminized is a 60% indica developed for High Times by Sensi Seeds’ expert breeders. This hand-crafted strain was created by crossing Sensi Seeds’ original Sweet Cherry Kush with a unique blend of College Park and Frosted Flakes to round out the genetic profile.

This meticulous breeding has resulted in short-to-medium-sized plants capable of generating heavy yields of potent, resinous buds ideal for creating extracts. These plants are incredibly bushy, and their lateral branches can grow rather long, sticking straight out. While this makes these plants extremely versatile, it also means that they require extra airflow to prevent mould or mildew.

Growth pattern of Blue Flame Feminized

Blue Flame Feminized cannabis seeds commonly grow into medium-sized, extremely bushy plants with moderately long lateral branches growing 45° outwards from the main stem. The main stem isn’t likely to grow much taller than the lower canopy, but the apical cola can run the upper quarter of the plant, while lower branches each grow several dense buds.

When grown indoors, Blue Flame Feminized plants often reach maturity at a height of 70-110 cm, though likely on the shorter end of that. Despite that, these plants are capable of delivering heavy yields of 400-550 grams per square metre over their 60 to 65-day flowering period. If given space to grow outdoors, expect these plants to reach heights of 100-200 cm while generating as much as 475-650 grams per plant.

These plants tend to produce dense, conical buds with the lateral branches doing most of the work. These flowers are solid and heavy, but not overly large. Their size, coupled with their fairly high level of vegetation, can make trimming these plants slightly tedious. Fortunately, these plants’ shorter size means that there aren’t likely to be a huge number of buds.

If flowered early, Blue Flame Feminized plants are a decent pick for a sea of green (SOG), though their dense vegetation requires adequate airflow and ventilation to prevent mould or mildew. This strain can also be a decent pick for a screen of green (SCROG), though its somewhat slow vegetative growth can make this a slightly time-consuming endeavour. The dense buds and sturdy branches are also well-suited to lollipopping or supercropping.
