Banana Kush Cake Automatic cannabis seeds are 75% indica, 25% sativa. This new strain was created by Sensi Seeds as part of Research 2021, and combines two much-loved strains, Wedding Cheesecake and Banana Kush, with Hindu Kush Auto. This has resulted in a strain that has several phenotypes – something that’s sure to be appreciated by growers that enjoy variation.
This is the automatic version of the strain. That means that even inexperienced growers should have success with it, as there’s no need to calculate light exposure, or to remove any male plants. On average, growers can anticipate the flowering period to last seven to nine weeks, but this may vary, depending on the exact phenotype of the plants.
The plants are typically compact in size, which is useful for those with limited space, or those who want to cultivate without attracting attention. Their appearance can be variable, but generally, they have a sturdy central stem, with closely spaced nodes, and a conical shape that’s wider at the base than the top.
One thing that doesn’t tend to vary is the size of the yield. For an autoflowering variety, Banana Kush Cake is capable of producing impressive harvests; something that growers particularly value. The buds are dense, cone-shaped, and packed tightly together. Some ‘run’ to the upper stem and branches, and the clusters remain dense, not open. Users will notice the soothing, dreamy impact of the strain, combined with just a touch of energising ‘buzz’, which is down to the sativa genetics. Note – although this is an automatic variant, the high is still potent. As such, novice users should approach with a level of caution.
The scent of the plants is subtle and skunky with notes of sweet citrus and banana – in fact, it’s this smell that gives the strain its name. The aroma becomes stronger as the plants grow, but never becomes overpowering. This can be an advantage when cultivating them discreetly, especially for growers who have only a basic ventilation system.
The taste is much the same as the scent. The dominant flavours are hash, citrus, and banana, combined with brown sugar and a hint of spice.

TOP Auto Flower for Beginners
I ordered these seeds and 2 other strains (Pineapple Kush Cake Auto and Skunk #1 Auto) and was not disappointed. This was only my 2nd Indoor Gorw and both Banana Kush Cake and the other strains performed great. The butts were super developed and looked really nice. The taste and effect were also ne 2+. All in all, highly recommended, especially for beginners.

Ich hab mir diese Samen und 2 weiteren Strains (Pineapple Kush Cake Auto und Skunk #1 Auto) bestellt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Dies war erst mein 2. Indoor Gorw und sowohl Banana Kush Cake als auch die anderen Strains haben super performed. Die Butts war super entwickelt und sahen echt schön aus. Auch der Geschmack und die Wirkung waren ne 2+. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, vor allem für Anfänger.

I have many tanned and yellow leaves through my own fault, because I had made the mistake of defoliating when the symptoms began. Helped a bit with nutrients but unfortunately no more large leaves that can give off energy. But luckily the buds start to swell. I got about 8 large shoots with LST. As described, very compact plant.

habe durch eigene schuld viele braun gebrannte und gelbe blätter, weil ich den fehler gemacht hatte zu entlauben als die symptome anfingen. habe etwas mit nährstoffen geholfen aber leider keine grossen blätter mehr, die energie abgeben können. aber zum glück fangen die buds and zu quellen. habe mit LST ca. 8 grosse triebe bekommen. wie beschrieben sehr kompakte plant.
Exceptional strain
A beautiful plant that has had a vital effect throughout. What you smell in the Greinder, you also get in the smoky taste. Vegetal estreme sweetness, with tones of lemony hash. The high hugs you gently, like pie, and makes Hat a cuddly heaviness in the background in case you got too much cake. Really very nice high that I'm celebrating. Grow, as well as consume positive exceptionally well!

Eine wunderschöne Pflanze, die durchgehened vital gewirkt hat. Das was man im Greinder riecht, kriegt man auch im Rauchgeschmack. Pflanzliche estreme Süße, mit Tönen von zitronigem Hasch. Das High umarmt dich sanft, wie Torte, und macht Hat im Hintergrund eine kushige Schwere, falls du zu viel Kuchen erwischt hast. Wirklich sehr schönes High, dass ich feiere. Grow, als auch Konsum positive außergewöhnlich gut!

Es war der erste Samen den ich gewählt habe und tatsächlich auch der beste. Perfekt für den Einstieg aber auch perfekt für every day. Sie wächst absolut perfekt synchron und ist unglaublich wiederstandsfähig. Sie wächst klein und diskret. Berlin Balkon Westseite 20g in Tomatenerde mit Tomaten-Dünger und ohne Pflege, außer mal ein gelbes Blatt wegzuzupfen. Hinterm Kühlschrank zwei Pflanzen mit 36w auch 20g. Egal was man macht nach der durchschnittlichen Blütezeit kommt was raus. Und im Zelt geht sie richtig gut ab. Und dann gibt sie auch noch ein fantastisches high von aktiv bis verträumt breit. Sie macht mir einfach am meisten Spaß. Danach kommt erst Northernlights und Skunk.

Beautiful compact plant!
Planted it on 4/20 (wink) so yeah end of April it’s now around 60 days later and she is deep into flower only about a foot tall but she’s in a 2 litre pot so no excuses. She’s got a strong main stem with citrus type scents which hit you in the face when you open the tent. Stunning colours and growing so fast it’s unreal! Looking to harvest July so I’ll let you know how it’s going! Which I could post picture reviews! Would make a beautiful community on here

Set in the sand
I had ordered the seeds to use at a later date. I stored the seeds in the refrigerator in a tin (i.e. original packaging in a can) as recommended (2-3 weeks). Condensation has formed in the original packaging and a seed has germinated. When I noticed that, I put everything in soil. The germinated seed could not be saved and the other seeds did not germinate. Since I put everything in soil, the friendly AI told me that it was not a complaint and that the germ guarantee did not apply. Anyway, I have ordered new seeds (Amnesia Jelly Automatic) and will only germinate in kitchen paper in the future to be able to claim the warranty in the worst case. Since several users seem to have had bad experiences with the Banana Kush Cake, I'm unsure if everything was really my "fault". Regardless of "guilt": It's annoying.

In der Originalverpackung ist Kondenswasser entstanden und ein Samen ist gekeimt. Als ich das bemerkt hatte, habe ich alles in Erde gesetzt. Der gekeimte Samen war nicht mehr zu retten und die anderen Samen haben nicht gekeimt. Da ich alles in Erde gesetzt habe, sagte mir die freundliche KI, dass es sich nicht um eine Reklamation handelt und die Keimgarantie nicht greift. Anyway, ich habe neue Samen bestellt (Amnesia Jelly Automatic) und werde zukünftig nur noch in Küchenpapier keimen um im worst case die Garantie in Anspruch nehmen zu können. Da aktuell mehrere User mit den Banana Kush Cake schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht zu haben scheinen, bin ich aber unsicher ob tatsächlich alles meine "Schuld" war. Unabhängig von "Schuld": Es ist ärgerlich.

Top for the outdoors
The 4 seeds germinated in a damp cotton ball and then 3 were transplanted into a pot of 2L each (one of the 4 had only one cotyledon). The nurse lasted a hair less than two weeks, barely 12w of LEDs and spring light so that the seedlings developed in an acceptable temperature of 21°C before transplanting in the ground in a cold greenhouse. They finished their growth/flowering cycles without any major problems, the stretch period was impressive with an average height of 155cm at the end of flowering. The 2025 heatwave had little impact with afternoons in greenhouses at + 45°C in the shade, surprising not to have seen falling leaves at these critical moments. Nice fir-shaped structure, very little foliage, provide a way to help the branches support the weight of the buds. I had 3 distinct phenotypes. In my opinion, only one really had the whole spectrum of Banana Kush Cake (flower tending towards purple at the end of the cycle, sweet and creamy smell with a hair of citrus). One of the phenotypes had a Skunk smell but it was really too strong, the trimming was difficult, the smell made me nauseous (fortunately the curing attenuated this power). - outdoor (in a cold greenhouse) - open ground (Biobizz Allmix) - fertilisers (Biobizz Fish&Mix / CalMag / BioBloom / TopMax) - the entire cycle (105 days) - Height (155 cm) - Harvest weight after drying and trimming (170g on average per plant)

Les 4 graines ont germé dans un coton humide puis 3 ont été transplantés dans un pot de 2L chacune (une des 4 n'avait qu'un seul cotylédon). La nourrice a duré un poil moins de deux semaines, à peine 12w de LED et la lumière du printemps pour que les plantules se developpent dans une température acceptable de 21°C avant une transplantation en pleine terre sous serre froide. elles ont plus terminer leurs cycles croissance/floraison sans gros soucis, la période de stretch a été impressionante avec une hauteur de 155cm en moyenne en fin de floraison. La canicule 2025 n'a eu que peu d'impact avec des apres-midi sous serre à + de 45°C à l'ombre, surprenant de ne pas avoir vu feuilles tombantes à ces moments critiques. Belle structure en forme de sapin, tres peu de feuillage, prévoir un moyen d'aider les branches à supporter le poids des tetes. J'ai eu 3 phénotypes distincts. A mon sens un seul avait vraiment la totalité du spectre de la Banana Kush Cake (fleur tirant vers le violet en fin de cycle, odeur douce sucré et crémeuse avec un poil de citrus). Un des phenotype avait une odeur de Skunk mais c'etait vraiment trop fort, le trimming a été difficile, l'odeur me donnait des nausées (heureusement le curing a atténué cette puissance). - exterieur (sous serre froide) - pleine terre (Biobizz Allmix) - engrais (Biobizz Fish&Mix / CalMag / BioBloom / TopMax) - totalité du cycle (105 jours) - Taille (155 cm) - Poids de récolte apres séchage et trimming (170g en moyenne par pied)
