Jackuzzi Feminized is a 70% sativa-dominant hybrid created for Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds program in collaboration with the team at Serge Cannabis. By crossing our own iconic Jack Herer with C4 we were able to develop an exciting new twist on one of our most beloved strains. Jack Herer has long been known for its balanced mix of indica and sativa genetics and by blending in more sativa from the C4 parent, we’ve created a whole new take on a classic formula.
Thanks to the introduction of these sativa genes, Jackuzzi Feminized cannabis seeds typically produce fairly tall plants with long slender colas. Users familiar with Jack Herer are likely to be surprised by the shape, size, and effects of these flowers but make no mistake, this strain is a more-than-worthy descendant of one of the all-time greats.
Jackuzzi Feminized plants are fairly typical sativas with a towering, lanky stature, longer-than-average internodal spacing, and long skinny buds which are surprisingly dense. Indoors, these plants often reach heights ranging from 110 to 160 cm with most plants finishing on the taller end of that range. If grown under natural light, however, this strain can develop into true monsters with heights of up to 300 cm.
Over the strain’s 65 to 70-day flowering period, growers can look forward to XL yields of anywhere from 460 to 650 grams per square metre indoors. Outdoors, growers can plan on harvesting 560 to 640 grams per plant.
Wherever they’re grown, Jackuzzi Feminized plants tend to stretch a fair bit during flowering so indoor growers should slip their lights a bit sooner than they normally might. While blooming, these plants tend to develop long, conical buds that resemble small green gnome caps and are covered in thick glistening trichomes. These buds are shockingly dense and sticky with resin which makes this strain a great pick for extractions.
Jackuzzi Feminized thrives in a slightly warmer, more humid environment thanks to its slender and loose growth pattern. The lanky structure and long internodal spacing make these plants particularly well-suited for advanced growing techniques like mainlining or screen of green (SCROG) growing. However, these plants are less-than-ideal candidates for a sea of green (SOG) due to their height. Additionally, the slender branches and long colas make them poorly suited for lollipopping or supercropping.
The aroma of Jackuzzi Feminized plants during the final weeks of flowering is remarkably faint when compared to the size of the plants. Subtle hints of diesel and skunk become more prominent towards harvest time, blending with herbal and spicy undertones. Growers shouldn’t need to worry too much about dealing with the smell.
After curing, the dried buds take on a bolder aroma with bright citrus notes mixed with a subtle spiciness. These are perfectly balanced by faint undertones of berry and skunk that round out the truly delicious profile. All of these notes are present in the flavour which initially gives off a zesty lemon taste with a piney freshness on the inhale; a taste that should be instantly recognisable to any fans of Jack Herer. This is matched by a peppery spice with a touch of sour berry on the exhale and a subtle aftertaste of diesel.
The effects of Jackuzzi are the real star of the show and should again be familiar to anyone who’s ever sampled the parent strain. Almost as soon as you sample the buds, you’ll notice an energising focus take charge as your feet start to stir for adventure. This is paired with an equally uplifting cerebral high which is sure to spark creativity and mental clarity. All of this energy is balanced out by a mild sense of physical relaxation. Overall, this strain is perfect for a long hike or a day of creative endeavours.
