Genetic Benifits of Early Girls
The Early Girl genetics are an ace for creating hybrid strains. They give a grower many advantages. If pollinated with a late bloomer the cross will bloom earlier. When crossed with a tall variety the off spring will grow shorter. If a strain does not yield thick fat buds, when crossed with the Early Girl the buds will be thicker and firm. Early Girls create much better auto flowering marijuana seeds than Ruderalis. Because Early Girls are higher in THC and have thick buds with better flavor, they create hybrids better by far than any Ruderalis hybrids. One obtains the same desired effects of a shorter more compact plant with thicker buds, better flavor and more THC.
The strain you choose for flavor will retain its delicious attributes when a hybrid strain is produced with Early Girl. It is more compatible to cross an Indica or sativa with an Indica/sativa Early Girl. The Ruderalis is not an advantage. As a matter of fact if one is desirous of CBD pollinate the Early Girls with your choice of cannabis sativa L. Perfect. You will have created a hybrid with thicker buds, CBD and a great flavor that blooms early.
Kudos! The strain Harlequin can be obtained in clone. Grow Early Girl seeds to get males. When the a Harlequin is 3 to 4 weeks into bud and the pistils are long, pollinate them with the Early Girl male pollin. This will create a delicious hybrid that buds thick and early. Enjoy!
my marijuana staple
I live in Canada and grew my first plant in 1976 - I'm no rookie. Of all the strains I have tried over the years, Early girl is my first choice for outdoor. Even here in Canada the plant can reach maturity in our short summer. Yields are only ok, not huge - however, the smoke is a beautiful potent blend of indica and sativa. I very much enjoy this smoke and highly recommend it to anyone where they have short summers.
