Mighty Dwarf Automatic is a 65/35 indica-dominant hybrid strain created by White Label Seeds. To create this strain, breeders started with Sunset Peach (RS11 and Peach Tree) and crossed that with Purple Pickle Automatic to add in genetics from Sour Diesel and Granddaddy Purple, resulting in a remarkably compact, fast-flowering strain capable of delivering heavy yields with minimal effort.
As an autoflowering strain, Mighty Dwarf Auto doesn’t require any special attention and will flower on its own after a few weeks, regardless of light schedule or conditions. This allows for an incredibly hassle-free grow without sacrificing harvest potential. However, this same trait makes these plants largely unsuitable for many advanced growing techniques. While these plants are hearty enough to survive almost anywhere, they perform best in temperate, semi-dry climates with proper ventilation.
Mighty Dwarf Automatic cannabis seeds can be expected to develop into extremely short, bushy, compact plants with tight internodal spacing. These plants tend to produce a single massive cola rising above incredibly short lateral branches, covered in dark green foliage, while the flowers are highly resinous with light orange pistils on top of green/purple calyxes.
When grown indoors, Mighty Dwarf Automatic plants typically reach maturity at a height of 25-80 cm and can generate heavy yields of up to 250-325 grams per square metre. Even when given access to natural sunlight and plenty of room, don’t expect these plants to grow any taller 35-100 cm, and likely on the shorter side, while producing as much as 150-250 grams per plant. In either situation, this strain has a somewhat short flowering time of only 55 to 65 days.
The flowers that can be harvested from Mighty Dwarf Automatic are far larger than a plant of this size typically produces. The buds are of medium density and covered in fairly dense vegetation, which, when combined with their intense resin production, can make trimming a relatively difficult task. Growers should expect a single massive cola as well as several smaller, though equally impressive, secondary colas and a handful of golfball-sized buds.
Since this is an autoflowering strain, growers have very little control over the plant’s shape and size. As a result, Mighty Dwarf Automatic doesn’t respond well to advanced growing techniques. While low-stress training is possible, the plant’s short size typically makes it largely unnecessary. Thanks to their small size and fast flowering time, these plants are an ideal pick for a sea of green (SOG) setup.
As Mighty Dwarf Automatic plants approach maturity, growers can expect a sweet, fruity smell of fresh apples, blended with more subtle herbal undertones. The smell from each of these plants isn’t overwhelming, though if you’ve got a few growing in one space, expect the odour to become quite noticeable.
After curing, the buds lean into their Peach Tree roots and take on a dry, sweet aroma dominated by notes of fresh-picked fruit perfectly paired with spicier, hashy notes and just a hint of gas from the Sour Diesel lineage. The flavour is equally mouthwatering, led by the sweet taste of baked apples and creamy peaches, all paired with notes of fresh-baked dough and layered on top of subtle grape and candy flavours.
The effects of Mighty Dwarf Automatic are fairly well-balanced. Things kick off with an uplifting high that delivers a happy cerebral buzz before slowly melting into a smooth, relaxing body high. This strain is a great pick for creative focus or for taking the edge off when you need to get through a boring chore.
