After 30 years of existence, Sensi Seeds has become to the eyes of many the authority in several different aspects of the cannabis industry.
We discussed last week our involvement with many different activist projects. But the cannabis industry also consists in thousands and thousands of individuals, who struggle every day to support the cannabis cause, and spread the message about our beloved plant. Our goal is to support as many of these communities as possible.

We discussed last week our involvement with many different activist projects. But the cannabis industry also consists of thousands and thousands of individuals, who struggle every day to support the cannabis cause, and spread the message about our beloved plant. Our goal is to support as many of these communities as possible.
Supporting activism online
Sensi Seeds has sponsored many online cannabis communities these last years. There are many visible, commercial events celebrating cannabis and hemp, that aim to gather enthusiasts from all over the world, and to show the faces of those who have suffered and still suffer from the consequences of the War on Drugs. But every single day, these cannabis enthusiasts need support, and they can get it via online forums. These forums are key not only in providing much needed advice and assistance, they are also a social element to the cannabis community that is of the utmost importance, as the only platforms allowing any cannabis patient, activist or recreational user to join a community and discuss cannabis politics and more.
Naturally, we are more than happy to lend a hand to our fellow activists from all over the world. The French speaking community Cannaweed is a great partner in spreading the word; we are honoured to provide articles to our friends from LaMarihuana.com, and the Czech community of grower.cz is also in our priorities. Between online resources, user-based Cannabis Cups, and other projects, there is no doubt the cannabis community is thinking ahead, whether or not total legalization is on the way.
Redefining cannabis in the media
While public TV or cable TV may not be ready for cannabis-focused channels or programs, there are many online news outlet initiatives that deserve attention and support. We are pleased to contribute to supporting these teams of knowledge-thirsty globe-trotters who inform, report, denounce, and document everything a cannabis consumer must know by using their online presence.
Sensi Seeds is especially proud to collaborate with our dear friends from the Cannabis News Network, who have helped us in giving straightforward insight directly from the frontlines on many topics, such as the quality of black market cannabis, the latest news on major victims of the War on Drugs, and much more. In their own words:
“Cannabis News Network is the source for serious, factual news videos about everything to do with cannabis, its industrial, medicinal and recreational use. […] Together, we confront policy makers, politicians and the general public with facts and reason, filling in the gap left out by the mainstream media.”
We have also explored in depth the impressive Hempflax factory with Marihuana Television, and we are glad to view every episode released by our guest blogger Micha, with Exzessiv TV. We have supported CIA TV (formerly known as blunTV) in the making of their movie. Our friends from 420weed TV can count on our support as well, and we are impatient to see the new televised projects, movies and documentaries the cannabis community has in store for us in the coming years.
We are also delighted to contribute regularly to the development of cannabis-focused press, and publish articles in as many magazines, webzines and newspapers as humanly possible. The availability of information is key to a burgeoning industry such as the cannabis world, and multi-support visibility will be our main tool in going this direction!
Cultural sponsorship
But it turns out, online forums are not the only federative initiatives on the web; pop culture is a major tool in uniting people around a common theme, which is why we are very passionate about the music artists we sponsor. These last months, Sensi Seeds has focused on putting in the spotlight many people who represent and/or support the cannabis community, regardless of how they do it. We are proud to count among our ambassadors eminent artists such as George Clinton, Redman & Method Man, Reverie, Gaïden (Rap Contenders), and many more.
Influence can come from anywhere and anyone; this is why we want to help everywhere and everyone.
It’s already been quite a journey … and we’re not done yet.
