BBC Newsnight: Can Cannabis oil reduce cancerous tumors?

Can Cannabis oil reduce cancerous tumors? A question more and more researchers are trying to answer. For the detailed report, please take a look at the BBC Newsnight video below.

Cannabis is known as pain reliever, antiemetic, appetite stimulator, antidiarrhoeal,  analgesic and antidepressant, but can it cure serious illnesses, such as cancer?

The medical use of cannabis has been legalized in almost half of the US states and anecdotal evidence suggests that cannabis oil can be used for serious illnesses.

In this video, Sara Amento talks about cannabis oil as her very last option in treating stage 4 breast cancer. The Californian has gone through chemotherapy, which wasn’t working for her, and doctors told her that there’s nothing else they could do for her. She talks about the stigma that is being attached to using cannabis oil, especially as a mother, bur for her, cannabis oil is a medicine, a natural option, which the government(s) is (are) ignoring.

Cancer Research UK is looking at cannabis as a treatment option, but is still skeptical about cannabis is THE choice of treatment for cancer.

Stefanie LaRue, a breast cancer survivor, says that she’s got the proof. The tumors in her body are gone, despite her opting out of conventional medicine. She had chosen cannabis as her one and only cancer treatment option.
